The 5-Bird Chukar Hunt is designed as a relaxed, enjoyable way to get dogs on birds and spend time in the field at Lucky Chukar Ranch. This experience is ideal for handlers introducing a young dog to upland hunting, giving a seasoned dog a refresher, or simply enjoying a relaxed day outdoors.
Each hunt includes 5 birds per shooter, providing just the right amount of opportunity for dogs to work, point or flush, and retrieve real game in a natural setting. Chukar are a true upland species found throughout Wyoming and much of the surrounding western states, making them an excellent bird for developing and testing real-world hunting skills.
It’s all about building confidence, reinforcing training, and giving dogs the reward of feathers in their mouth.
